EAA Workbench 2

Managed to finish the 2x4 cut list! Something I realized before I started: The speed square can be used for a lot of different things. It can also be used as a guide for a circular saw!

I've tried to freehand cuts before with a circular saw and they go...alright. Realizing I could use a speed square as a guide really made the process faster and more accurate.

I don't have any pictures of me starting the MDF panels, but that got uh...bit of a rocky start. I bought a circular saw guide for doing long rip cuts. That again, is way better than free handing it! However, I completely forgot to support my test cut and ripped a 1x1" corner off my waste pieces.

Thankfully, my workbench has some slots for 2x4 boards to extend the working space.

1. Measure the distance needed
2. Use the speed square to make a perpendicular line
3. Use the speed square as a guide to ensure a straight cut with the circular saw
4. Pretty darn even!
